The top performers for the women on the track include Brittany Feldman, who ran a personal best time of 12.32 in the 100m dash for second place, and 25.41 seconds in the 200 to win. Kelly Vincent (41:02.64) and Rebekah Champlin (41:22.22) ran personal best times placing second and third, their times place them both in the top 10 performances in the 10k in school history. Madison Courtney placed 6th in the 5000m with a personal best time of 19:21.82 and Brenna Donovan placed 4th in the steeplechase running a time of 12:11.73.
The women had a very strong showing in the field where Rachel Williams, Brianne Paganello and Anneliese Bienko finished 4th, 5th and 6th in the shot put (11.32m, 11.22m, 10.76m). Rachel Williams also took second in the hammer throw with a personal best toss of 41.03m, and Brianne Paganello placed fourth, throwing 39.70m. Abriel Andrews came in 7th place in the discus with a throw of 30.57m. Also competing well was Mikayla Capestrani who placed 3rd in the pole vault (3.07m).
On the men’s side on the track Cody Martini placed 7th in the 10k running 33:29.13, Ethan Francis also took 7th in the 1500m with a time of 4:12.42. Chase Towse placed third in the meet with a time of 57.74 in the 400 hurdles.
Similar to the women, the men had a strong day in the throwing events. Hsin Chin (50.45m) , Kyle Brown (44.82m, a PR), Sawyer Bell (43.72m), and Kevin Geiser (41.54m, a PR) took 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th in the hammer throw. Geiser and Bell also threw well in the javelin placing 3rd and 5th with throws of 40.79m and 38.97m. Damone Brown placed 1st in the shot put throwing 13.67m and Joseph Gabrielli came in with a throw of 11.67m for 7th place. Chin, Geiser and Brown also competed in the discus with throws of 38.03m, 36.27m and 35.73m respectively for third through fifth place. Also in the field was Trent Howard who took third place in the pole vault with a height of 3.78m.
