Joseph finished fourth in the 800 meters in 1:56.60. It was one of four personal-best by the Blue Devils. The others were by Ethan Francis (Dunkirk, N.Y.) in the 1,500 meters, Kyle Egan (Monroe, N.Y.) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, and third-place finisher Kyle Brown (Hamburg, N.Y.) in the hammer throw.
Other top-five finishers were Mitchel Paciga (Jeffersonville, N.Y.), second in the high jump; Damone Brown (Haverstraw, N.Y.), second in the shot put; and Chase Towse (East Northport, N.Y.), fifth in the 400-meter hurdles.
The wins were by Brittany Feldman (Jamestown, N.Y.) in the 200 meters in 26.03 seconds and Sarah Couperus (Marion, N.Y.) in the high jump with a clearance of 1.57 meters (5 feet, 1 3/4 inches).
Four of the personal-bests came in the 1,500 meters. The quartet consisted of Kristen Guarino (Bergen, N.Y.), Emily Maguire (Oakdale, N.Y.), Brenna Donovan (Youngstown, N.Y.), and Kelly Vincent (Randolph, N.Y.). Hannah Kurbs (Lockport, N.Y.) was eighth in the race.
Anneliese Bienko (Clarence, N.Y.) and Rachel Williams (Lockport, N.Y.) had personal-bests in the discus, Carly DeBono (Medford, N.Y.) in the 800 meters, and Miranda Warner (Westfield, N.Y.) in the 100-meter high hurdles. Bienko finished second in the discus, Kristen Sawyer (Lockport, N.Y.) third in the pole vault, and Williams fifth in the hammer throw.
Fredonia also won the 4-by-400 meter relay with Bonnie Binggeli (Walworth, N.Y.), Feldman, Stephanie Wojnowski (Rochester, N.Y.), and Maguire in 4:15.74.
