Senior, Tony Gettino started the day off with a personal best 5,000m performance of 16:36.82, beating his previous time of 16:59.00 from 2019. Freshman Josh Walters opened is college career with a huge mile personal best of 4:34.86 bettering his previous time of 4:59. Walters was also part of the winning 4x400m relay team. Toby Onuoha picked up right where he left off last spring, winning the 400m in 52.19 and finishing second in the 200m 23.40. Onuoha was the anchor leg for the winner 4x400m relay team.
On the women's side, freshman Ally Battaglia started her indoor career with two huge personal best times, first in the mile, finishing second overall in a time of 5:45.62. Then coming back in the 3000m race with a personal best time of 11:24.25, bettering her previous best by over twenty seconds. Freshman Haley Lerner finished second in the pole vault with a height of 2.80m (9'-6.25").
"There were a lot of nerves that needed to get out this past weekend and I believe the ice has been broken. For many of my roster, this was their first indoor meet of their college career". Coach Wilson.

The Blue Devils are off till the 2022 year where they will continue the season at RIT on January 28th.
