Q: Where are you from?
A: Batavia, NY
Q: How long have you been competing?
A: I’ve been running cross country since 9th grade, but I didn’t begin running cross country until I was a sophomore in high school.
Q: What attracted you to Fredonia?
A: Initially, Fredonia wasn’t on my radar as a possible school that I wanted to attend. That all changed after my recruiting visit where I had the opportunity to meet Coach Wilson, members of the team, and get a feel for the school. I knew Fredonia was a place where I could better myself both as a student and runner.
Q: What are you studying?
A: I’m studying history and social studies adolescence education.
Q: Explain your experience as a Blue Devil
A: My experience as a Blue Devil has been an incredible journey filled with highs and lows. One thing that hasn’t changed is the support I’ve received from my teammates and coaches. This entire program has grown so much since my freshmen year. We’ve all come together as a family and it’s only helped us become more successful as a team. I couldn’t be more proud to be a Blue Devil and a member of this program.
Q: What are your athletic and academic goals?
A: My athletic goals include breaking 4:10 in the mile this indoor season, as well as qualifying for NCAA’s in both indoor and outdoor track. As a graduating senior, I want to end my running career without any regrets. I want to look back on my career and know that I gave it my all every time I put on that Fredonia jersey. Some of my academic goals include graduating with a GPA over 3.70 (Summa Cum Laude) and becoming an Academic All-American.
Q: What are your future plans?
A: My future plans include receiving my teacher certification and becoming a high school social studies teacher.

A: “Mirrors” by Justin Timberlake
Q: What is your favorite (non-academic) book?
A: Running with the Buffaloes by Chris Lear.
Q: If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
A: I would most likely choose Ireland because I love studying genealogy and that is where my family came from!
Q: What is your favorite genre of music?
A: Country
Q: What is one of your favorite inspirational quotes?
A: “The effect you have on others is the most valuable currency there is.” –Jim Carrey
