Sophomore Anna Dambacher bettered her own school record in the 100 meter with a preliminary time of 12.24. She is ranked first going into tomorrows finals in that event. Anna also set a new school record in the 200 meter with a time of 24.83, breaking Natalie James' 29 year old record of 24.99. She ranks second going into tomorrow's final. Both performances were also ECAC qualifying performances.
Freshman Laura Morrison set a new school record as well. Her time of 2:17.69 shattered the previous record of 2:19.24 set by Sharon Raymond in 1986. Morrison's performance eclipses the ECAC qualifying barrier and ranks second going into tomorrow's final.
Also surpassing ECAC qualifying standards were Senior Anna Hourihan, Senior Ben Goebel, & Junior Hailey Griewisch.
Hourihan placed 3rd in the 10000m run with the second fastest performance in school history with her time of 38:47.66.
Goebel's lifetime personal best of 4.50m (14'9") earned him both a second place finish in the pole vault Friday night while also ties him for the 4th best performance on the Fredonia State all-time top ten list.
In the 100m hurdles, Griewisch set a new lifetime personal best improving on her ECAC qualifying performance from earlier this season with a time of 15.51. She will run as the six seed in tomorrow's final.
