Junior Anna Dambacher won both the 100 Meter Dash and the 200 Meter Dash this weekend. She finished with times of 12.51 and 26.00 in the two events. Senior Hailey Griewisch won the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.55, which was a season best for her. Senior Nicole Desens won the Discus Throw with a throw of 43.99, which is a personal best and national qualifying mark for her. Freshman Kristen Sawyer won the Pole Vault with a vault of 3.20 meters.
Joining Anna in the 200 Meter Dash was freshman Brittany Feldman, who placed 2nd with a time of 26.10. Joining Niki in the Discus Throw was freshman Anneliese Bienko, who place 6th with a throw of 35.77. Niki also took 3rd place in the Shot Put with a throw of 11.88 meters. She was joined by junior Brianne Paganello (6th place; 11.07 meters) and Anneliese (9th place; 10.49 meters). Brianne place 6th in the Hammer Throw (41.79 meters) along with junior Heather Rickman (7th place; 41.33 meters) and freshman Rachel Williams (11th place; 38.14 meters).
Other top finishers for the women include Anneliese (3rd place; 28.54 meters) and freshman Sarah Couperus (11th place; 22.18 meters) in the Javelin Throw; Sarah (8th place; 10.26 meters) in the Triple Jump; freshman Jen Wasielewski (6th place; 2.90 meters) in the Pole Vault; sophomore Laura Morrison (5th place; 59.73) in the 400 Meter Dash; and senior Kim Foltz (3rd place; 2:21.56) and sophomore Bonnie Binggeli (6th place; 2:23.75) in the 800 Meter Run.
On the men’s side, junior Hsin Chin took 2nd place in both the Discus Throw and the Hammer Throw. He threw 40.56 meters and 50.94 meters in the two events, respectively. Freshman Chase Towse finished 2nd place in the 400 Meter Hurdles as well, with a time of 58.51. Sophomore Bobby Cooper finished 3rd place in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 1:58.09. Senior JM Knapp finished 4th in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 51.08.
Other top finishers for the men include junior Collin Mulcahy (8th place; 51.92) in the 400 Meter Dash; junior Kyle Collins (6th place; 4:02.96) and senior Chris Shartrand (8th place; 4:05.78) in the 1500 Meter Run; freshman Mitch Paciga (5th place; 16.00) in the 110 Meter Hurdles; junior Connor Hayward (5th place; 10:23.15) in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase; freshman Rocky Caparro in the High Jump (8th place; 1.75 meters) and Triple Jump (5th place; 13.34 meters); freshman Justyn Haines (5th place; 4.10 meters) and senior Doug Imperi (10th place; 3.65 meters) in the Pole Vault; freshmen Damone Brown (4th place; 13.35 meters) and Brian Bernier (10th place; 12.39 meters); Damone (6th place; 38.83 meters) and junior Kevin Geiser (8th place; 36.45 meters) in the Discus Throw; Kevin (10th place; 44.50 meters) in the Javelin Throw; and junior Sawyer Bell (4th place; 46.32 meters) and freshman Kyle Brown (9th place; 42.80 meters) in the Hammer Throw.
