For the second time this fall senior, runner Kim Foltz has been named Fredonia State University Athlete of the Week, sharing the honor with Hannah Manning of the Women's Volleyball team.
This announcement comes after Kim broke the cross country school record in the 6,000 meters with a time of 22:37 and placing 12th overall this past Saturday at the Atlantic Pre-Regional Invitational hosted by SUNY-Geneseo at Letchworth State Park. The previous 6,000m record was 22:43 held by Jessica Bennett set at the 2007 NCAA Atlantic Pre-Regional hosted by New York University. A performance that earned Bennett a trip to the 2007 NCAA National Championships. An accomplishment that Miss Foltz will be looking to equal when the team returns to Letchworth State Park on November 16th for the 2013 Atlantic Regional. We believe she can do it and wish her congratulations on earning this honor yet again! Comments are closed.
