The women had a big day on the track with Brittany Feldman taking first in the 400m (58.53) currently placing her 14th in the nation for DIII and breaking her own school record. Senior Laura Morrison also took first in her event and broke her own school record. Her 2:12.05 in the 800m is currently the second best time in the nation. Other notable finishes were third place in the 400 by freshman, Sam Ruszczyk (1:03.65), second in the 800 by junior, Bonnie Binggeli (2:27.75), third and fourth place finishes in the mile by freshmen Hannah Kurbs and Stephanie Wojnowski (5:23.29, 5:24.99), second place in the 3000 by sophomore, Maddie Courtney (11:18.38), and a win by junior, Julia Johnson with a time of 19:29.32 in her first indoor 5k. In the field Julia Schrier took second in the pole vault with a season best of 3.35m, Sarah Couperous took fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 10.38m , and senior, Brianne Paganello won the shot put with a season best throw of 11.87m.
On the men’s side, senior, Collin Mulcahy was the first collegiate runner in the 800m in a time of 1:53.63; his time places him with the fifth best time in the nation for the event. Other stand-out performances include a collegiate best 800 for sophomore Merlin Joseph with a time of 2:00.32, a first place finish in the mile by Zakk Hess in a time of 4:19.48, a win in the 5000 by senior, Kyle Collins in a time of 14:48.29, and a win in the triple jump by Rocky Caparro with a jump of 13.42m.
