Q: Where are you from?
CH: Brockport, NY
Q: What event(s) did you compete in?
CH: XC, 5K, and 10K
Q: What did you study at Fredonia and what year did you graduate?
CH: Mathematics major, CS minor, Music minor. Graduated 2013.
Q: What attracted you to Fredonia?
CH: The math program, Cross Country and Track programs. It was a state school, a good distance from home, and there was the possibility to add on music classes.
Q: Explain your experience as a Blue Devil.
CH: Awesome! I loved being part of the team and all the fun traditions we had or created (Arkwright Falls, XC Summer Camp, etc.). It felt good to belong and know you had such great friends on rely on.
Q: What were some of your athletic highlights?
CH: Scoring at SUNYACS in the 10K in outdoor track my senior year.
Q: What kind of competitions have you participated in recently and how did you finish?
CH: I ran my first half marathon last year (May 2014) and ran around 1:40.
Q: What is your current occupation?
CH: I'm currently a teller at a local credit union but I'm taking a class at Shippensburg University to help me pass the first actuary exam.
Q: What is your favorite book?
CH: Harry Potter or Divergent series
Q: If you could give any advice to our current student-athletes/recruits what would it be?
CH: There’s always room for improvement and don't let injuries get you down!
